I'm an Irish-Chinese artist based in London. Through painting and sculpture, I look to translate the complexities of dual heritage and identity, of being caught and suspended between internal concepts and literal states of personhood - examining places where a person is seen, or altogether obscured. My practice examines the nuances and conditions of visible identity in contrast to agency, exploring how spaces inform us, and how we can inform spaces.

Looking at my relationship with public and private spaces, I translate and decode the complex personal symbols and states into a tangible sensibility or mood within the work. My recent body of work examines the tensions and disturbances within everyday spaces and the objects encountered within them.
